Brief 8: ATHA Developments logo

I started on the logo designs right away as they wanted to see some options later today. I tried to keep them varied while bearing in mind the want for geometric designs:


I sent a draft of a few designs and they chose three, which I then developed further, testing out appropriate type,  before they decided on one, with which I did some brief colour experiments. They had specified fairly neutral dark tones so that it would translate well onto the side of a silver van, so I did my best with these specifics. After finalising the colours I went on to finalise the type:

In the end, it was decided that they just wanted to put the logo on the van instead of incorporating a more complicated design. They felt that the logo in itself was quite intricate, and they also had a lot of copy they wanted to feature on it, so the idea of adding a geometric pattern to the side of it would make it appear very busy. Below is the final design of the van:
