Brief 8: Atha Developments

Atha Developments is a property development company that specialises in student properties in the Newcastle/Middlesborough area. It is run by twin brothers Jack and Tom Atha whom I met on holiday two years ago, and contacted again when they expressed a need for a new logo design and van design.

They sent me some examples of logos that they liked and tried and asked if I could do something that fitted that aesthetic, using the A and D, and connecting them in some way which would translate well onto the side of the van and would work in conjunction with some sort of geometric pattern for the van.

I was told they needed the logo very soon but to take time over the van design as that wasn't a pressing issue. As I hadn't done something design related in the property development field, nor had I designed the aesthetic of a vehicle, I am interested in seeing how well I can fit the brief they've given me.

I looked into some more corporate and angular logo designs, and logos that comprised primarily of letters to get a bit of an idea of what they wanted, working on the brief they sent me.
