Brief 4: Paco Rabanne Letterhead/Business Card

I planned to simplify the design for the letterheads and business cards so tried a variety of layouts to keep the visuals masculine with a more classic aesthetic.

Above is the design that I felt best suited the rebrand, and while I felt that this simplified approach worked well for the letterhead, I also wanted to experiment with the use of the visuals on the packaging, as, if kept light and simple, it could translate well onto paper.

Below are the two versions I chose, but ultimately I think that the design with the patterned half border is most fitting, and the white on black for that single bar gave the page more balance and put it in conjunction with the other designs.

I took the same approach with the business cards, initially attempting a simple, clean-cut design, later perhaps incorporating the pattern, but allowing both designs to speak for the brand.

Below are the final two designs I chose. For the business card I decided to lower the tint of the pattern as on smaller space like this the design was becoming quite overwhelming, but at the same time, I felt the reverse side of the card was too basic without it in comparison to the packaging and letterhead.
